In 18-19 centuries catacombs were like a shelter for smugglers, hideout for different gangs, prisone for women, sold into slavery. During the revolutional events —there was an underground place for printing the Bolsheviks newspapers. During the Second World War guerrillas were hiding in the catacombs of Odessa. In the postwar years (during the Cold War) catacomb system was used for the construction of anti-nuclear bunker.
You won't just hear all these stories, but also see with your own eyes: anti-nuclear bunker, underground lake, part of wild catacombs. You will also visit the guerrilla’s camp and gangsters’den. At the end of the tour there will be a sweet treats waiting for you right in the underground kitchen.
